Lecturer, Course Curator & Mentor

2021-Present

Context

The UX/UI Design program at the British Higher School of Art & Design is aimed at designers and product specialists who want to strengthen their expertise and move toward a more structured, research-driven approach to product design.
As a lecturer, curator, and mentor, I developed the curriculum, prepared and delivered lectures, created learning materials, and guided students through the full end-to-end UX/UI process. Beyond group sessions, I ran extensive one-to-one mentoring on UX, research, UI, visual communication, typography, and composition — drawing on my background in graphic design.

Real Product Design

From research and strategy to UI and testing — I taught students
the full end-to-end UX process used in modern product teams.

500+ Graduates

My students now work in top companies and build products used by millions. I’m proud of every one of them.

My Teaching Approach

My work combined theoretical foundations with hands-on project supervision, helping students build real, structured, industry-ready workflows.

Throughout the program, students learn a full set of tools and methods essential for modern product teams: idea generation, UX research, strategy building, prototyping, analytics, testing, and presenting design solutions. They work with research frameworks used by major product companies and apply these approaches directly to their own projects and case studies.

You’ve had a huge impact on my life.

that finally made sense.” Angelina D.

Impact & Scale

Over the course of my work at BHSAD, I have personally taught and mentored more than 500 designers.
Each year, the UX/UI program enrolls 100+ students — and in addition to this course, I also taught on two other design programs at the school.
This includes hundreds of junior designers whom I guided through their first steps in the industry. Many of them have since grown into confident mid-level and senior product designers, and I’m genuinely proud of the role I played in their careers. More than a few still jokingly call me their “career fairy godmother” — and it’s one of the best compliments
I’ve ever received.
